Barvita Urbana

September 20, 2010

My talented Slovenian friend recently had an exhibition there:

As per the website

In this photographic exhibition Barvita Urbana the photographer presents in his own way the world of colourful graffiti in South America. He first encountered the world of colourful, passionate and highly-charged urban culture in 2008, when he spent two months in Brazil on a practical study assignment. In the streets of Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte, as well as numerous other locations that he visited on his travels, he sought out the diversity of graffiti that reflects the local everyday urban culture. The exhibited photographs of Brazilian graffiti open up a view of urban life and the pulse of city culture in another part of the world – in the land of samba, caipoeira, carnivals and an exotic tempo of life.

More of his Brazil pic’s here, exhibition pics here.

More photo’s and Andrej’s art here.
